The GTNet Domain Management Service

A Domain Name provides an organisation with a registered and personalised
Internet address that nobody else on the Internet can use. The GTNet
Domain Management Service enables you to use your own Domain Name in
place of the default GTNet email address.

We can register a new Domain Name for you or you can transfer your
existing Domain Name from another Internet Service Provider. GTNet
will co-ordinate all the administrative and technical queries involved
in registering/transfer of your Domain Name. GTNet will be responsible
for any registration charges made by main Registrar's, UKERNA (.GOV.UK)
Nominet (other .UK names) and Network Solutions INC (.com, .net, .org, and .edu),
whilst the name is hosted by GTNet and the Domain Management Service
subscriptions are paid.
You can download an application form or request one to be posted to you
(see below). Once you have received your completed form and official
Purchase Order, you will be kept updated on the progress of your request,
by email. If there are any problems with your request, we will contact
you in the same way. Confirmation of completion will be emailed and
posted to you.

This will provide you with the use of specified email addresses,
anybody@yourdomainname, forwarded to your
designated GTNet mailbox(es), allowing everyone in your organisation or
department an email address, without having to have Internet access.

As part of the application we will ask you to list your chosen Domain Name
email addresses and the GTNet mailbox destination.
Alternatively you can choose to have all Domain Name email automatically
forwarded to one GTNet mailbox. There is no limit to the number of different
email addresses (names before the @ sign) that can be used with your Domain
Name, and these addresses do not need to be registered as email aliases
before use.
Please note:
Your current default GTNet addresses will also continue to operate.
The cost of the GTNet Domain Management Service is £200 + VAT per Domain Name
per annum (in addition to the cost of a GTNet Internet account). This includes
Email forwarding to your GTNet account and the initial registration charge,
levied by the respective registrar and all on-going annual fees, as long as
the name is hosted by GTNet and the Domain Management Service subscriptions
are paid.
Please note: You can only apply for the GTNet
Dial Domain Management Service if you already have a GTNet Internet account.

GTNet strongly recommend not to do so until you have received confirmation
that your Domain Name application has been completed.
